Among the monsters I got was a big 5" El. Blue Jack D. He took a beating when the reg pair "paired off" (Nothing yet) but he mended nicely. A lady who breeds Blue Jacks bought him off me for $40. Promises to kickback fry to me...Hopefully. Roll Eyes

That is nice deal. 

The Electric blue JD's. are a weak strain of fish.  They don't grow nearly as fast as the run of the mill Jack  Dempsey's.  That and the last reports I had seen they were a HYDRID of Jack Dempsey and Herichthys carpintis.  Not sure if that has changed or not.  I have not payed that much attention to that saga.  Unless that is cleared up they should not be turned in for BAP.
